Deluxe Studio
Our Deluxe Studio units are perfectly appointed with a King bed. These rooms are upstairs with a distant view of the ocean. All studios are double-glazed and have a smart Flat screen TV, electric blankets, a microwave and unlimited ultra-fast Wi-Fi. Our convenient location means you are central to the CBD and easy exit from New Plymouth to your next destination.

One Bedroom
These One Bedroom units are modern, light and spacious, with a separate bedroom that has two single beds. The open plan living area has one King bed, sleeping a total of four people. Your own cooking facilities means this makes an excellent base for you when staying in New Plymouth. Features include free unlimited Wi-Fi, double-glazing, smart flat screen TV’s in both the lounge and bedroom and a convenient kitchen with microwave, oven, cooktop, rangehood and tea and coffee making facilities.

Two Bedroom
Our spacious Two Bedroom units are fabulous for family groups and sleep up to 5 people. The large sunny rooms are double-glazed and beautifully appointed with electric blankets and your choice of King or Single beds. Self-cater in the full kitchen which includes an oven, microwave, cooktop and fridge. The unit has 3 smart flat screen TVs. These rooms are the perfect place for basing yourselves when traveling to Taranaki.

Len Lye Wind Wand

Coastal Walkway
The award-winning Coastal Walkway is a 12.7km path that forms an expansive sea-edge promenade stretching from Pioneer Park at Port Taranaki all the way to the eastern side of Bell Block Beach with numerous pedestrian access points dotted along the way. The walkway is ideal for walking, running, cycling or skating, or simply enjoying the view of the dramatic west coast.

Pukekura Park

Often described as the jewel in New Plymouth's crown, Pukekura Park covers 52ha (128 acres) right in the heart of the city and is one of New Zealand's premier botanical gardens.

Brooklands Zoo

Brooklands Zoo is a free, family focused zoo which is home to a variety of farmyard animals, frogs, reptiles, oriental small-clawed otters, meerkats, a brolga, Bolivian squirrel monkeys and both capuchin and cotton-top tamarin monkeys, as well as a selection of colourful birds housed inside a walk-through free-flight aviary.

TSB Bowl of Brooklands

The TSB Bowl of Brooklands is a unique venue comprising an impressive outdoor sound stage and a large grass amphitheatre set against the backdrop of New Plymouth’s Pukekura Park. The bowl is a spectacular venue for summer concerts and when night comes, visitors and performers are spellbound as the lighting on the stage and surrounding trees takes effect.

Happy Chaddy has a lot to say, with many tales to tell along the way. He could keep you there most of the day, it depends on how long you want to stay. You could catch a fish or two, It's really up to you.

Paritutu Rock

Guarding the eastern end of New Plymouth's harbour is Paritutu Rock, another volcanic remnant. There's a track up the rock, beginning on the northern side. It's a scramble to the top but the views are spectacular & you can see the entire New Plymouth coastline, city, port and the Sugar Loaf Islands.
