Pukekura Park
The World Renown City Park with arguably the most beautiful cricket venue in the Western World. The Park is stunning all year round and illuminated in the summer evenings with the Festival of Lights, offering free live entertainment in spectacular surroundings. Home to the Fernery Houses with a mass of Begonias, Orchids as well as a large selection of flowers and ferns.

Bowl of Brooklands
Fantastic outdoor Venue for live entertainment in spectacular surroundings. Recent Concerts that have been held here are Elton John, Stevie Nicks, Fleetwood Mac and Cliff Richards. Home to the Annual WOMAD Festival.

Brooklands Zoo
Brooklands Zoo (located next to the Bowl) is a free, family focused zoo which is home to farmyard animals, an endangered red panda, oriental small-clawed otters, ring-tailed lemurs and both capuchin and cotton-top tamarin monkeys, as well as a selection of colourful birds housed inside a walk-through free-flight aviary.

Coastal Walkway
10 kilometres along the New Plymouth seafront and ideal for walking, running or cycling for all ages and abilities. Wind Wanders and Bikes are available for hire.

Govett Brewster Art Gallery
A premier contemporary art museum and home to the collection of modernist filmmaker and kinetic sculptor Len Lye. The Gallery has a contemporary art collection and presents a diverse programme of exhibitions and events. Admission to the Art Gallery is free.
